As teachers, we all have stories to tell.

When you start out as a first year teacher, you're just beginning a the first chapter. And boy, oh boy the story of teaching sure has its turns, its ups and downs, and its surprising events!

Sometimes our stories feel like that dark and stormy night ... (2020 anyone?)

While other times you get to play the hero and win the battle!

My story as a teacher sure has been all that and more. When I first began teaching 2006, I had NO IDEA where my story would lead me (none of us do!).

And while I'm still in the middle of my teaching story, we've come to an exciting chapter!

It's the "LINKtivity Learning Turn 1 Year Old" chapter!

And we're celebrating!

But - the truth is, the LINKtivity story goes back well beyond one year. For the past 15+ years LINKtivities have changes and evolved into the multimedia edu-venture that we know them as today.

In fact, they weren’t even called LINKtivities in the beginning.

In today’s podcast episode, I’m taking you back to the beginning (before I even knew that I was beginning something, really).

Sometimes the greatest stories are unplanned and uncharted. It's a we'll see where this takes us kinda story.

From what began as a PowerPoint with all the bells and whistles has grown into something we could have never imagined.

And guess what? You have been part of the LINKtivity story, too! LINKtivities have become what they are today because of teachers like you and because of students like yours!

As we celebrate today, we are reminded of what has driven us from day one: the desire to put something out into the world that sparks the love of learn in all students.

So, let's start at the very beginning... a very good place to start.

Join me on this week's podcast episode and I'll take you alllll the way back to a hot, sticky 4th grade classroom, in an old city-school building...

We are so excited to be celebrating one year of serving teachers and students through the LINKtivity Learning membership.
